Reason to upgrade??

Yes, the wiring was the main thing, it enables the rest (when and if). Not sure where you are putting the router + hub and phone system, but ideally they would be in a space that can be physically secured and is well ventilated. That would allow you to put a server of some sort in the same equipment area (again in the future).

As far as the back up....one work station as secondary hard drive that all projects are backed up on continually. we then have an external hard drive that is kept off-site that we bring up to the office on each Friday and copy the back up drive to it. Just takes a minutes to copy things over and let is run for awhile. Might not be the best setup but it works for us. Thanks again.
