SqueezeCenter and Logitech Media Server installed!!
Hello,
I have SqueezeCenter v7.7.1 installed (installed and configured it to work with my players). You can view the add-on in FrontView by going to Service>Streaming Service>SqueezeCenter.
Today I decided I wanted to update my ReadyNas Pro's Logitech Media Server to the latest nightly build 7.7.2 (http://downloads.slimdevices.com/nightly/?ver=7.7) so I went to Add-ons in FrontView> Add New and browsed to the location of the new 7.7.2 bin file. After installing, now I notice I have what appears to be 2 instances installed. I now have one under "Add-Ons" > Installed > Logitech Media Server v7.7.2.
Both items havea "Remove" button but can I remove the one under Services (7.7.1) will I lose my settings? Ideas?

- I suggest that you try to contact logitech, since they are the developer of the add-on.

- virgiliomiAspirantYou made the same mistake that I had made with the newest 7.7.2 builds (which is why I wrote that install note that mdgm linked to).
If you try to remove it from Streaming Services, it will remove the files/settings (and may remove from Add-Ons), but it will still be present on the Streaming Services page. But none of the files will be present, so it won't start, and you won't be able to remove it again.
The only way at this point for you to get rid of it from Streaming Services will be to uninstall 7.7.2, reinstall 7.7.1, remove 7.7.1, then reinstall 7.7.2. You will lose your settings, unfortunately (unless you have root SSH enabled on your ReadyNAS and you make a backup of the preferences file (and I don't remember the path to it off the top of my head, so don't ask)). - jabberwockie1Aspirant

Hi. I'm trying to find my preferences file to change the SQUEEZEBOX_ARGS= settings. I was told it's at /etc/sysconfig/squeezeboxserver, but with my 7.7.2 installation, I have no sysconfig directory. Can anybody help me find the right config file?
TIA

PS Sorry - I forgot you'd said "don't ask" ;O)
