mobile router solutions

I'm looking for a solution for when the power falls out here in Patagonia Argentina, since I'm videoconferencing and because of power cuts cannot depend only on the regular Wifi.
A good solution seems the Nighthawk M1 router with an external antenna attached. 

However, on various websites I read that the Nighthawk M1 is not compatible in this area, or not even outside of Europe.

Is this the case?
If so, what would be a better solution?
