A6100 Windows 10 not joining after windows update (KB4038788 possibly)

I am using Windows 10

Wifi was connecting well as of last night.

Today had an install of a windows update, which included KB4038788 which includes a change to the treatment of passwords for wifi.

After the update, even though the wifi adapter identifies the available networks, it will not allow the adapter to connect.

Was using the A6100-V1.0.0.30 software,  I have now upgraded the software to A6100-V1.0.0.32.

Any thoughts would be appreciated.

Note that this issue is associated with Windows 10
