AX1800 4-stream WiFi Mesh Extender
I also just purchased a AX1800 4-Stream WiFi mesh extender. Having a difficult time getting it to connect. Used WPS several times and it seems to connect but the router link LED never comes on. I am left with the Power LED of course, the client LED and the WPS LED. All three green with the client blinking.
I believe it is working but isn't the router LED light also suppose to be on? It is only 20 feet from my router so it should have a solid signal.
Utilizing the Nighthawk app did not work as the instructions describe and the NETGEAR_EXT is not availably to connect too since I used WPS. Is that normal? Overall the instructions are really poor and do not match the app or the login to a netgear router.
Thoughts?

Re: AX1800 Extender wont connect
factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant.
To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
Here's a video of how to use the assistant.
