I am trying to set up my EX2700 wifi extender, I have linked it to the router ok, but every time I try to connect a device it says 'incorrect password' (I am using the same password as I normally do for the router)I have tried resetting the extender several times but this made no difference. I understand that updating the firmware will possibly help, but I am having trouble doing this...when I download the firmware, every time I try to open it, it says 'file corrupted'. Could anyone advise if updating the firmware would help, and how do I go about this, or what else I could try.
Thank you

The password for the EX2700 is the one you chose during the installation stage. This can be different to your router password. If you have forgotten it you can connect by lan cable to the unit and access the set-up details again:

'I entered a wrong wireless security passphrase during installation, I cannot connect to EX2700 through wireless. What can I do in order to access the EX2700?
Please connect to EX2700 through wired, and login at http://www.mywifiext.net, and check the wireless setting page.If you still cannot access the extender, please reset it back to factory default.'
Hope this helps

Re: EX2700 Won't connect to any devices
Thanks very much for your help, I connected the extender to my computer via ethernet and logged into www.mywifiext.net to set up, all is working nicely now.
Thanks again for your help, much appreciated 🙂
