EX7000 Can not connect to the extender - password do not match

Hi, the extender used to work just fine until I noticed one day it was no longer connected. Had to reconfigure it but since then I just can not connect it. I get an eeror message saying the password do not match altough it does.

I have tried to reset it but. still get the same error.

What is wrong and what can be done?

What firmware is on it?

have you tried a factory reset on the device? 

If so, try reinstalling the firmware to it, then factory resetting it. Make sure to do it over a hardwired connection when you do so.
