EX7300 Connects to AC1750 Router but no Internet signal
Hi:
I have an EX7300v2 range extender connected to an R6400/AC1750v2 router.
Firmware of extender: updated today, but can't see version
Firmware of router: V1.0.4.98_10.0.71
The system had worked flawlessly for a few months, but now there are times where I am connected to the network but I am unable to receive any internet signals through certain devices (which can vary day to day). So, for example, my phone and tablet will work fine on 5G, but suddenly my PC will be connected to 5G but no longer be able to get on the internet.
The router was recently replaced by Netgear (under warranty) so that is not the issue. So there appears to be some sort of conflict between the router and extender signals.
I reset the extender to it's factory settings and did a completely new setup, but the problem still seems to persist at times. (The extender is also under warranty, but Netgear gave me such a hard time over the router return that I can see them balking on the extender...they kept insisting I pay for software support before returning the router...absolutely awful customer relations...not aware of any other company that tries to force an upsell before honoring warranty service).
Anyway, wondering if anyone has the same issues (looks like there are some similar issues with this extender, but not with this extender/router combination).
