EX7300 Extender 2,4 GHz no connection
The extender is still extending both 2,4 GHz and 5 GHz, but now the 2,4 GHz is not working and when I try to connect it says «wrong password». I can still connect to the 5 GHz and that works fine.
I’ve tried the following solutions:
- reset to factory settings
- checked for firmware updates
- Tried connecting with different devices
Has anyone encountered similar problems?

Re: EX7300 Extender 2,4 GHz no connection
Hi @John-R,
Welcome to the community!
1. Please indicate the firmware version of the extender.
2. Are your devices able to connect to the main network's (router) 2.4GHz network using the same password?
3. Have you tried using a different password for the 2.4GHz band of the extender?
Regards,
Dexter

Re: EX7300 Extender 2,4 GHz no connection
Firmware Version: V1.0.2.136
Yes, I’m able to connect to the main router from my devices.
I’ve tried to reset and extend the network multiple times.
So far I’ve tried:
- extending using same SSID/ network name and password as the main router
- extending and creating different names for 2,4 and 5 GHz bands and different passwords for each connection.
The last option has worked for about a year, then suddenly the 2,4 GHz connection is gone. When I log into the extender it says «No connection» in the status window for 2,4 GHz, while the 5 ghz works fine.
