Expanding Network to use WiFi 6 and an R9000 as an AP
We are putting up a detached garage and I need to get internet to it, but am not able to run ethernet (hard line) over there. I am thinking about purchasing a new wifi 6 router (needs to have 6 or more ethernet ports) and using my current R9000 as an access point. Then purchasing a new mesh capable AP to mesh off of the R9000, if possible.
Can I get a recomendation on which Netgear equipment to purchase?
Network layout is attached.
