Extender broke my internet

I went to set up my extender since I don’t have any service in my bedroom. So, I’m in my living room with the router and my computer and everything’s great and I plug it into the wall. Turn it on, click the wow buttons on it and the router, all the proper lights turn on, everything’s great- EXCEPT
I went to my computer and suddenly my internet’s down. I went to reconnect to the network and it asked for my password (it should have this memorized but I enter it anyway) it tells me it’s wrong. I see the network_ext as an option so I try that one, I put in the same password as my regular network because that’s what the tutorial said, same thing- wrong password. I check my phone, same thing. My network keeps showing up as an option, but then telling me my password is wrong. I have reentered it, extra careful, caps lock on, perfectly as it has worked a gazillion times in the past 5 years- constantly tells me it’s wrong.
I unplugged the extender to try and return to my normal pre-extender life, but this password thing still happens. I have restarted my router a million times, I have turned WiFi on and off on my computer, I have restarted my computer.
I don’t know what to do.

Hi @Marcee,
Welcome to the community!
You can try accessing the user interface of your router to verify the WiFi password. Once you have done that, you can use the manual configuration option on the extender to make sure that all settings are correct. This link for the user manual may help out.
