Having issues with EX7000 connected to R7000 - ever since latest firmware update...
Hi all ...
I have an R7000 Nighthawk (that's been very reliable for the past 3 years or so that I've had it) as my main router - and last year, I purchased a EX7000 (Wifi Extender). Ever since the latest firmware, my extender will randomly stop working until I reboot it. When this happens, I can't even use mywifiext.net while wired into it.
The only way to fix it 90% of the time is to turn off the extender - and then turn it back on. Every blue moon - even after rebooting the extender - it still won't work. However, if I reboot my router - it'll eventually connect and all seems well again.
I've been having this issue about once or twice a month and as stated, it only started with the latest firmware. I tried to rollback to an older version, but the extender keeps having the same issues...
Any suggestions? I'm getting really annoyed with this lately... TIA

Did you ever solve this issue? I'm having the same problem. It seemed to have started after a firmware upgrade on the R7000.
