LG 15Z970 intel wireless-ac 8265 can't browse internet after connecting to netgear ex6100/ac750
I have an EX6100/AC750 range extender which has been working fine for 6+ months. I just got a new laptop (LG 15Z970) which has an Intel wireless-ac 8265 NIC. The device connects fine to the EX6100/AC750 range extender, receives an IP address, but I'm unable to browse the internet with a browser: IE/Edge/Chrome etc
I can ping and tracert www.google.com fine.
I have tried disabling 5Ghz WiFi on the EX6100/AC750 range extender ... but this doesn't solve the problem.
I have tried to reset the Intel wireless-ac 8265 NIC by removing the driver, reinstalling the driver etc etc, in addition to performing:
- netsh winsock reset
- netsh int ip reset
- ipconfig /release
- ipconfig /renew
- ipconfig /flushdns
But this also didn't resolve the issue.
Connecting the Intel wireless-ac 8265 NIC to an Apple Airport Express works just fine and I can browse the internet.
Any ideas?

Re: LG 15Z970 intel wireless-ac 8265 can't browse internet after connecting to netgear ex6100/ac750
Very strange ... after shutting down the ex6100/ac750 wifi extender and not using it for 12+ hours ... I plugged it in again today and to my surprise ... all is working fine.
Nothing changed either with the LG 15Z970 intel wireless-ac 8265 nor with the netgear ex6100/ac750.
