Re: My range extender ex2700 won’t take my WiFi password
did you set it up via wps?
What firmware is on the extender?
What router is it connected to?

Not sure about the firmware it’s just brand new--------then it might need to be updated. You can see what firmware you're on when you log into the extender. The firmware can be downloaded from the support site. go to netgear.com/support/ and type in the model. It'll bring you to the manual, firmware, and the install guide for the installation wizard.
Wireless router------not even slightly helpful. What brand and model? not all models work well with extenders.
Thanks for your help!!
