NIGHTHAWK EX7000 AC1900 WI-FI RANGE EXTENDER WON'T CONNECT TO NIGHTHAWK APP

The Nighthawk app sees my SSID from the Nighthawk Ex7000 Ac1900 Wi-Fi Range Extender but will not connect.  The range extender is working properly, devices are connected and operating but the Nighthawk app will not connect.  Suggestions?

Can you log in through the browser?

Yes.  The web browser access works fine.  The App will not connect.  I just get a blank screen.  I know this is not crucial since I have web access.  Just trying to get it to work.

Clearing cache/data on the app?

Only have the one device.  I cleared the cache and started from scratch.  It appears to need to complete set up with a different SSID then what I already have configured.  It sees my SSID but will not log in.
