Netgear AC1750 Extender EX6250 won't give more than 5MBPS
Hello, I have moved my wifi extender to multiple different locations around my house going from better to worse connections and am noticing that no matter where I place it I do not get faster than 5MBPS. I have updated to latest firmware based off mywifinext (V1.0.0.90). My ISP is Xfinity and I pay for 400up 40down. I can understand if I was getting 100-200MBPS or even 50 and I wouldn't complain, but 5 is pathetic. I do have 20/40MHz Coexistence disabled as from my testing it has shown more steady. Tried on both 2.4 and 5 and both give about the same speeds unless I am in room that needs extender then 5 is slower, which makes sense to me. Right now the extender is located right at entrance of room in which is needed which is only about 7 yards away from router and no major walls blocking. If anyone has suggestions on what to do or if I need to upgrade, would be great!!
