Netgear R8000 Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band Wifi Router not connecting with N300 wifi range extender
I recently just bought a N300, Model EX2700 range extender but it for some reason does not connect to my router. I am using a Netgear R8000 Nighthawk X6 AC3200 Tri-Band. WPS connection does not work, I tried going to the mywifiext.com site but when it asks to find routers mine does not pop up. Even doing the manual typing in of my router name doesn't even seem to find it. All other devices are able to find and connect to my router, and even the extender is coming up in the list of connections for my devices but for some reason the extender and my original modem simply do not link up. I tried turning off the power and reseting both the router and extender and they are both literally right next to each other too. I have no idea what else I can do to get the two to connect to each other.

Have you tried to manually update the firmware on the ex2700? You may also want to try and change the SSID on the router to test if the extender can see the new name.
