New EX7300 can’t connect

I’m so frustrated I can’t get this to install properly and nighthawk can’t find it. Can’t figure out what I’m doing wrong. I have another Netgear extender and it seems they’ve got the same network name, is that right? Please help!

1. what router are you connecting it to? 

2. what firmware is on the extender? 

3. what method of setup are you using? WPS or the installation assistant?

If you tried setting it up using wps, try factory resetting. push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
