Nighthawk Ax5 4200 died last night?
Ok so long story short- our main cable modem is a NETGEAR AC1900 Model C7000v2. We are using a nighthawk AX5 AX4200 downstream as the main wifi source since the modem area is kinda tucked into a corner area of the house. Worked great for just over a year- then bang a few nights ago we lose all internet connection thru the nighthawk. So far I have tried everything my fairly basic IT knowledge consist of- I have tried a full factory reset on the nighthawk- changed cables- and nothing. The app is no help it does show that cable is connected but no internet - the AC 1900 is working perfectly fine with 2pc LAN wired and also using the wifi with phones and tablets with no issues. Seems like the AC has cut off access to the nighthawk? I’m guessing firmware update pushed thru and there is some setting I can’t figure out ? I can log into my Main router on my web browser and it shows 3 wired devices. It shows the ip address and MAC address of the AX4. I have no idea if this thing just randomly **bleep** the bed after 12.5 months?
