Nighthawk X6S Tri-Band Range Extender Firmware & Connection issue
I'm having an issue connecting with my range extender, In the Nighthawk app I'm not able to connect with the range extender. I get the error "Firmware Out of Date". When I log into the extender from my desktop its states that my firmware is up to date. I can't find anywhere that will tell me the current version on the extender. When I try to download the most current version from Netgear I get the error "This firmware file is incorrect". Not sure what to do at this point as the extended isnt communicating with the router so it isnt fuctioning at all.

Re: Nighthawk X6S Tri-Band Range Extender Firmware & Connection issue
I attached a picture of where to find it when you log into your device.
Also, when you downloaded the firmware, did you extract it? many just download and open the file. But you have to extract it and then you can manually install it.
Did you try to set it up via wps?
