Have a new modem (does not support WPS). Need to reconfigure my AC1200 Dual Band WI-FI Range Extender (EX6120) so I can add a new password. Thank you!

Many genuine modems do not have a router component. They will not support an extender.

factory reset the extender  and set it up using the installation assistant.

To factory reset, push and hold the reset button for 7-15 seconds while powered on.
