Range Extender ex6250 How to use wired connection rather WIFI
Hello.
Configured my range extender and working in wifi mode. Would like to use the Ethernet port for incoming signal from switch instead Wifi. Everytime in connect the wire cable, all internet in the house slow down deeply. once disconnected, everything come back normal. BTW, switch on the side is alway on extender mode, NOT acess point.

If you're wanting to hardwire it in, you need to set it to AP mode. Or you'll get the problem you're experiencing.

Re: Range Extender ex6250 How to use wired connection rather WIFI
So Range Extender= use wifi signal to broadcast further the same SSID
Acess point= use wire to make a distant connecting point and use the same SSDI.
am I correct?

for the most part. I usually don't recommend using the same ssid for extenders but it isn't a hard rule. Just a preference.
