Renaminng Host Router
I wish to rename the host router. Password and other information remains the same. What must I do, if anything, to the Range Extender to maintain a connection? N600 WiFi Range Extender

Why? Is there some actual problem which you are trying to solve?
Which name? The router itself? The wireless network name (SSID)?
...?

"N600" is a speed, not a model number. Ever helpful, Netgear product
packaging emphasizes speeds like "N600", but that's not the model
identifier.
To what is this "N600 WiFi Range Extender" connected?

Renaminng Host Router
Indeed, it is the SSID which I desire to change.
No Problem with the current name; I merely wish to change it.
The Model is WIN2500RP
The Host Router is a D-Link DIR 825. This should not be an issue.
