Repeated Disconnecting & Connecting

Occasionally while I'm using my laptop, I notice that the connection to my EX6100 extender disconnects and then within seconds reconnects. This can happen repeatedly for several minutes. It just happened to me a few minutes ago, but now things appear to be stable. How can I debug this problem? It's a real pain when I'm trying to get something done. Any ideas on where the problem might lie?

Do any other wireless devices have issues at the same time? Does the EX6100 have a log file?
  • This is what the console on my MacBook returns, when it gets disconnected from the extender network. I'm using WN3000RPv2. As you can see, the connection quits at 11:32:45 and then resumes at 11:34:28.

Maybe, is there an issue here when "stealth mode" is enabled in security preferences of the OS X operating system?

I think this is the reason. Can anybody tell if it is the MacBook or the extender that is "dissacociating" due to inactivity?
  • To verify if its the extender, connect a device wired to the extender. If the wired device is disconnected which means the disconnection happens on the extender.
