Set up 2700 Extender, asked for login details?
Just bought the 2700 so I can get internet right at the back of the house, set it up with no problems and it worked for about an hour.
All of a sudden, this pop up box appears saying 'To view this page, you must log in to this area on www.mywifiext.net:80: - it then asks me to put in my 'Name' and 'Password'
Very confused, any help or advice is gratefully received!

Re: Set up 2700 Extender, asked for login details?
Hello Rayfriend
If you never set up a username and password when setting up the 2700 i would try the default Username of Admin and the password is password. also make sure the firmware is up to date on the 2700. hope to hear your feedback

Re: Set up 2700 Extender, asked for login details?
Hi Rayfriend,
To add to what DarrenM said, if you aren't able to access the web interface, you can download the latest firmware and manually install it to your extender. http://support.netgear.com/product/EX2700
If www.mywifiext.net does not work, you can also try mywifiext.net (without www.) or 192.168.1.250
