Using multiple AC750 range extenders in the same house, but to the router- not to each other
I will set these up using Genie smart setup, not WPS.
Lets say my routes SSID is John1
I noticed during the setup the entender will use router SSID then add suffix, example John1_2GEXT for 2.4 GHz and John1_5GEXT for the 5 GHz.
If I have two of these that I want to extend on same router, in different areas, should I change the name to like WestArea_2GEXT and NorthArea_5GEXT?
Or should I just leave both extenders with the same default names assigned as they connect to router in setup?
My first thought is leave the names alone, then I say no, they should be unique?

Hello Diverjer
You want separate names as they create there own network this will cause less issues.
