WIFI EXTENDER S/N - 4AMG027JA54EC / not improving signal strength
I have successfully set up my Netgear ex3700 wifi extender and have moved it to several different locations throughout the house, but there has been no decernable improvement in the signal

How big is your home?
how are you testing? (app, site, device, etc)
What speed were you getting in different locations before and what speeds are you getting through the extender?
Are you testing on 2.4ghz or 5ghz? 5ghz is much faster but doesn't broadcast as far or through as much materials.
What router is it running off?
And something to keep in mind with extenders. They're great at extending the wifi reach but they do so at the cost of bandwidth. Reason why is that the data has to be recieved by the extender and then rebroadcast. And it can't do both at once. So devices connected to the extender take a 50% reduction in throughput and a increase in latency.
