I bought this WiFi extender today, but it wants an email for to complete setup. I do not want an email account linked to my extender. I want to be able to login directly with my own username and password managed locally, as with my wifi router. How can I login without linking an email account to this device? If this is not possible, I am returning it to the store.
Hi @ImpulseResponse, the email requirement does not have to be a valid email since it will not send out a confirmation. Just make sure to write down/save the email you use to login to the extender UI.
