The last couple days my WiFi has not been working. Nothing has changed, it just stopped running. I did a troubleshooting (I have WIN7) and Windows seems to think I have an issue with my wireless adapter (onboard). So I went thru the diagnostics again, same results. I located my adapter and checked the drivers (up to date), I then did the disable/enable trick to no avail. I also checked the running services to make sure the WLAN was running and it is. I rebooted/restarted every thing I can think of but nothing is working. I tried to release/renew my IP but that has not worked.
Thinking it may be an actual adapter issue (The PC is only 7mths old and so is the Netgear router but what the hey) I went to Best Buy and bought a Netgear WNA3100 wifi adapter thinking this would solve it.
