Wi-Fi extender ax1800

Trying to set up this Wi-Fi extender with no luck. I don’t want to set up a separate network, but merge with the existing network. I have an Xfinity router. Please advise. Thanks

what xfinity router do you have? 

what extender do you have? (hint, AX1800 is a speed, not a model)

What firmware is on it? 

What method of setup are you using? WPS? 

Where is it failing or what's actually happening. Saying you're having no luck doesn't tell us anything thats going wrong
