WiFi extender to VOIP
I just bought an extender to connect my VOIP office phone. I have had issues with the phone randomly rebooting and I am trying to trouble shoot and see if it is because I configured the extender incorrectly, a faulty phone, or I should have the phone plugged into the modem instead. The phone works sometimes and at other times, it will reboot and completely disconnect from the network. Please advise. Thanks!

Re: WiFi extender to VOIP
Hi @onealc09,
Welcome to the community!
Best way to proceed is to isolate the issue. You can remove the extender from the picture and connect the VOIP straight to your router/modem-router and check if the issue will persist. Also, it may be a hardware issue on the VOIP part. Try another power adapter with the same specs and/or another power outlet.

Dexter
