We have used this extender successfully for several months. We recently upgraded to NBN so have a new wifi router. We have followed video and connected it to new router using Ethernet cable.
The Netgear extender is connected via Ethernet cable in our shed. When we try to connect to it, it picks up our correct wifi network but when we enter the wifi password it says we cannot join!
If you are using it as extender, you need to reconfigure it with your new gateway and you should not connect it wired to the new Gateway as extender will get the signal wireless from the new gateway. Whereas, if you are using it as an access point, login to it and check the wireless password under wireless settings.
