Wnce2001
Just purchased 2 of these puppies but I cannot set them up.
I unplugged my pc from my router,
plugged in power adapter for netgear into power green light comes on
plugged in lan connector to computer
Plugged into wall for power.
Power light comes on green, so does the lan light
I invoke firefox, but it tries to go to my home page,
I invoked internet explorer same issue,
Changed internet options to blank same still no netgear page.
Went back and rebooted computer without connecting to router but same issue
Tried 2nd bridge and same issues.
I also tried this with my laptop shutting down my wireless.
still would not go to netgear setup.
What am I doing wrong. Could I have bought 2 bad bridges?
Thanks in advance

Re: Wnce2001
Make sure any wireless device is DISABLED on wireless capable laptop/desktop
Windows 7
Plugs USB power adapter and plug provided ethernet cable to the WNCE2001
Once the Power LED is solid green, unit is "GOOD"
Open the browser and should open URL http://www.mywifiext.come/welcome.htm
Choose language
Hit next and it will go through status bar and look for "available" wireless network with following
SSID name
Channel
Security type
Signal Strength
It also includes "manually input my wireless SSID" for use who hides broadcasting of SSID
Choose your SSID and hit next
Provide your pass phrase and hit next
It will go through the status bar for connecting to the wireless router. After 1~2min it should come up with "You have successfully connected to wireless SSID NAME "
HIt finish. It will also ask you to save to your browser's favorites list. Close the the browser and open browser again
If you are using Win 7 it will ask your "network location" you can close or specify the type and save it
