I have nighthawk router and netgear wifi extenders with different passwords so they won't connect. How do I change passwords so they match and connect?

Welcome to the community!
If your router is already setup and working, then all you have to do is connect the extender to the existing WiFi network of the router.
1. You may reset the extender as described on page 40 of the user manual on this link.
2. The go through the setup procedure as described on this link.
