optimizing EAX80 with RAX200
Hello,
I have the RAX200 and EAX80 setup in my home. The RAX200 is upstairs and the EAX80 is on the 1st floor.
The 'One WiFi Name' feature is enabled.
Even though the extender is just about 4 yards away from the router, I get these speeds:
- Connection to Existing Network (2.4GHz), Signal Strength: 9 Mbps
- Connection to Existing Network (5GHz), Signal Strength: 54 Mbps
The extender to router connection is shaky and the light goes between red and white.
Does it make sense to connect the extender to the router via an ethernet cable and use it in "Access Point Mode?"
Can I do this in a way that the 'One WiFi Name' feature remains ?
Thank you
