Re: setup no WPS
You can set it up using the installation assistant. The support site has both a manual that goes over it and even a video.

Re: setup no WPS
Followed thye manual and after trying to connect I get the "not connected to the router" error
Extender is in socket next to router and my devices can see the extender but it will not connect even using the online assistant.

Re: setup no WPS
So "they see the extender" but can't connect?
Did you factory reset the extender and set it up using the installation assistant?
Push and hold reset for 7-15 seconds while the extender is powered on.
the connect to it and try setup.
were you able to connect to the extender for setup?
What router are you connecting it to?
What firmware is on the extender?

Re: setup no WPS
Hi
I cannot attach the word document I created that shows step by step the actions I have taken and seen but still cannot connect the extender to my router.
Cannot send multiple jpg's as it takes 6 screen captures and can only send 1
No idea how to get which firmware is on the extender?
Have downloaded the firmware update but no idea how to install it.
How can I get this working?

Re: setup no WPS
You can either connect to the extender's wifi or you can hardwire into the extender and then try the setup process.
have you tried hardwiring into the extender?

Re: setup no WPS
Well I tried all the suggestions from the community but still my extender will not work.
WPS no connection found
Web Browser - cannot find network.
As community cannot help I will buy a TP link or some other wifi extender that does not include NETGEAR!!
Also tried the feedback link set by netgear for my "Did you get the answer you needed?" feed back but the link fails so evern my feedback cannot be given!!

Re: setup no WPS
Yes as I stated I tyried all the suggestions from the community and they have convinced mr that my route to extending my wifi lies elsewhere. I am researching TP Link and others at this time before I purchase a replacement. I will carefully check the after sales support then make my decision.
So thank to the community for the help offered
