WLAN-RepeaterN300 Modell WN3000RPv3-Login über Browser nicht möglich/ Unable to log on userinterface
"401 Unauthorized - Access to this recource is denied, your client has not supplied the correct authentication."
Für Eure Hilfe danke ich Euch.:smileyvery-happy:
Freundliche Grüsse

Netgear wireless repeater N300 model WN3000RPv3 - Unable to log on the user interface/ Internet browser
Hello and good day:smileyhappy:
Please excuse the translation errors from the German language into the English language.:smileyembarrassed:
On May 2, 2016, we bought the Netgear WLAN repeater (amplifier) N300 model WN3000RPv3.
According to the installation guide 'wireless repeater N300 model WN3000RPv3' We have installed the wireless repeater.
We made a connection with WPS between the desktop (Win7, (x64) (our provider is: upc cablecom Switzerland) and the WLAN repeater. (According to page 10 of the installation guide.)
Our repeater appeared then in the PC display of the list of Wireless Network Connection with the network name of our existing wireless network name (SSID), which the repeater has changed in with the addition _EXT.
According Installation Guide Page 17 'Log In to the Extender After Initial Setup' or => translated from German: 'Log in to get access to the settings of the repeater', you can connect to the network of the repeater and the web browser by entering at the address field: www.mywifiext.net or enter www.mywifiext.com.
Then enter the follow username : admin and the password : password .
After entering the following text appears:
"401 Unauthorized - Access to this recource is denied, your client has not supplied the correct authentication."
For your help I thank you well.
Kind regards,

You may have changed the password to something else.
Try other password that you might have used.
Still unable to access? Reset the extender and start all over again.

We have never entered a new password.
As I said / written in post 1: "(...)according to the installation guide 'wireless repeater N300 model WN3000RPv3' we have installed the wireless repeater (...)" and as described on page 18 we proceeded.
We will try again ... and I will write then...
