Hello,
Is is possible to configure/lower the signal strength of the WAX630E ?
If so, is it possible to schedule the change ? To be able to have a low power signal at some hours for some days and other hours on some others days.
If not, is there any API you can access to do that and have the automation/scheduling part using an external tool ?
Résolu ! Accéder à la solution.

Hello @JesusTheHun
As advised, you can indeed change the output power of your WAX630E as well as configuring the radio to turn off or on on a schedule.
These options are available on the WAX630E local GUI as well as when configuring the access point from the Insight portal https://insight.netgear.com/
There isn't an API to remotely configure those parameters yourself but the WX630E comes with 1 year free Insight subscription.
Another feature that might interest you is the Energy Efficiency Mode. This feature is also be available on both Insight portal and the local GUI.
Bonne journée à vous,

Re: Is it possible to configure the signal strength of the WAX630E ?
Hello @JesusTheHun
Thanks for your message and Welcome to the Netgear community 🙂
You can indeed change the output power of your WAX630E from the menu "Management > Configuration > Wireless > Basic > Wireless Settings > output power"
The schedule is used to turn on or off the radio. This is under the menu "Management > Configuration > Wireless > Basic".
I still need to confirm if we have an object ID or an API to remote manage the WAX630E output power. I'll get back to you on that.
Bonne journée à vous,
