Problems with Night Hawk D7000 setup

Hi, i have a problem reaching the setup page using my internet browser, i tried multiple devices but i get stuck on the first page no matter what. i also tried the genie app on the smartphone but apparently it says that my router is not compatible with the app (i guess it's too old?)

D7000[v1] or D7000v2?  Look for "Model" on the product label.
(Presumably the firmware version is a mystery.)  Connected to what?

Any history?  Did this device ever work properly?

That looks bad.  The broken-image-link icon should never appear.  My
guess is that its firmware is corrupt.

It might be possible to use the TFTP recovery procedure to load some
appropriate firmware image into the thing without relying on its
(apparently useless) normal management web site.  See, for example:

Re: Problems with Night Hawk D7000 setup

It's the version 1 of the d7000, with the firmware 1.0.5 if i remember correctly anyway it's not the latest version for sure.
I tried that procedure, i got the blinking power led on the d7000, a static IP and the tftp program with the firmware but when i try to upload it it doesn't do anything, it just get stuck on the block #0.

Yup, that'd be old.  Shouldn't be fatal on its own, though.

Sounds like a good start, but the TFTP recovery scheme is a
multi-step procedure which offers multiple opportunities for user input,
hence user error.  By itself, saying that you "tried" it doesn't say
much.  As usual, showing actual actions (commands) with their actual
results (error messages, LED indicators, ...) can be more helpful than
vague descriptions or interpretations.  Especially when using a
command-line program, copy+paste is your friend.

Which file did you try to load?

Re: Problems with Night Hawk D7000 setup

This are the actions i did :

-Connect the pc to the powered on router

-Set up a static Ip in the internet options

-Write the command on cmd

-restart the router with the reset button pressed until the power LED blinks 10 times

-Execute cmd commands

And at this point i get the error message

Wrong IP addresses?  Why "192.168.1.3" instead of "192.168.0.1"?

For a modem+router, the default IP address would be "192.168.0.1", so
the computer (interface) should be set to, say, "192.168.0.10", and the
TFTP command should point to that default IP address.  (Why ".3"?)

   I prefer a command-line TFTP client, but I can't see your command.
Copy+paste is your friend.  Again, you would need to use the right
address for the D7000, and a compatible address for the computer.

The Netgear KB articles on TFTP seem to neglect modem+routers.
"192.168.1.x" is good for a plain router, but not for a modem+router.
