5G
3 TopicsEx3700 - 5 GHz not working
Hi, I am having the same problem as other users with regards to the 5g connection. The extender shows connected to the router but the 5g range is then not broadcasting. Some devices can connect to the 5gExt SSID but then will not have internet access. Others fail to connect completely (time out). I have changed the router channel & run the smart setup several times but it does not make any difference. Firmware is: V1.0.0.58_1.0.38 (Apologies I don't know if that is the latest or not as every time I try to check online for a new version I get the message that I am not connected to the extender network, despite the fact I am connected to the 2.4g at the time.) Any further suggestions would be welcome! Thanks.EX3800 Unable to Connect a Device to 5G
Hardware Version: EX3800 Firmware Version: V1.0.0.58_1.0.38 Went through WPS setup and manual setup. Haven't gone through setup while hardwired. 2.4g works fine. 5g shows connected between Router and EX3800 but I cannot connect a 5g capable device to the EX3800. I have great signal between the router and extender and the extender and the end user devices. Has anybody run into this problem and have a solution?2.3KViews0likes1CommentN300 can't find my 5G network
Hardware Version: WN3000RPv3 Firmware Version: V1.0.2.24 Howdy, My WiFi extender is only seeing 2G networks (including mine) when I go through a fresh setup via http://www.mywifiext.com/. But I'm trying to connect to my 5G network, like I do with several other devices. The setup process doesn't show any 5G networks. My router is broadcasting the 5G network name and has these settings: Mode: 802.11 n/ac Transmit Power: 100% Channel Selection: Automatic Channel: n/a Channel Bandwidth: 20/40/80(auto) Is this extender not 5G compatible? Any suggestions? Thank you in advance!Solved39KViews0likes2Comments
