Good evening all, I intend to buy an ORBI RBE 960 with 3 satellites in order to cover the entire house (4000 Sq ft). I just have one question: do the satellites connect to each other wireless as the distance from the router to all satellites would be too far to get a correct connection. Router to Satellite 1 then Satellite 2 to Satellite 1 and then Satellite 3 to satellite 2, this all in wireless. Thank you very muchOrbi AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System compatible with which Netgear Outdoor extender?
We have a home that has the Orbi AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System installed. We need an outdoor wireless extender that can work with that system. And, we cannot run any cabling, except to plug in the power for the outdoor device. What extender would be compatible with the Orbi AX4200 Tri-Band Mesh WiFi 6 System? On an older Orbi system we used the AC3000 Mesh WiFi Range Extender (RBS50Y) and it worked great. Now that we've upgraded we're unsure of what to use. I have 2 Orbi AX4200 satellites (RBS752). Can I buy the Orbi AX5400 (RBK763s - with a router and 2 satellites) and also use my existing satellites for a ”larger” mesh network? So the short question is, are these two different Orbi-versions compatible and able to create a mesh network?Additional Satellite for RBK353
I have an Orbi RBK353 System AX1800 which is working fine but does not cover the whole of my house and I wish to buy an extra satellite. I have tried both of Netgear's suggested stores and neither have the extra product avialable and do not know when it will be available. I have tried UK Ebay and Google Shopping and not found anything. Have Netgear stopped manufacturing or can anyone suggest an alternative source (preferably UK) please?SolvedORBI RBR850 - Separate 2.4 and 5.0 GHz Names
April 2023.. and I see requests for this feature from 2020 have not been answered? I just purchased a new Homewerks 110CFM Smart Fan with Bluetooth Speakers and Alexa Built-In. Ok, with Alexa built in one would this this is atleast B+ average on the smarts scale. But, come to find out, this device touted as new in Spring of 2023 can't operated on WiFi mesh networks if the 2.4 and 5.0 GHz channels have the same name. Simple, out of the more than 176 devices in my home, which is completely Alexa enabled, (every light switch, Dyson room fan, Roomba vacuum, Hue outdoor lights... home home even checks to see when my car arrives home if it's dumb driver forgot to lock the doors.) So, come to find out that while my home is smart, my new router isn't smart enough to offer it's 2.4 + 5.0 AX feature in away that is backwards compatible? What?? Ok, so at least give me the power to tailor my offerings to the least intelligent kid in the classroom by offering them an alternative (which would be offered to every kid in the classroom that prefferred it...) a 2.4 GHz channel with it's very own name! But no! Netgear, shame on you... requests have been coming in since 2020 for this feature. What, aren't you smart enough to be able to offer this feature? Or are you just going to be the school yard bully and beat up on anyone that wants to play in this schoolyard. If you say you support 2.4, then you better support every variation of 2.4 that this community needs. And that includes providing users with the ability to make our networks truly accessible to all the semi-smart device kids iot things we want to support in our home communities. Or give me a reason why your version of IOT segregation is the right thing to do.Which Orbi Mesh Router is right for me?
Mainly looking at the RBK65x vs 75x vs 85x. I have appx 2000 sqft single story house, whole HomeKit setup (2 Apple TVs, 5 HomePods, Lutron Hub with 20 switches connected, Hue with 5 connected, 2 Eufy HomeBase 2s with 3 cameras total, Aqara hub with 5 devices connected. My plan is 1Gbps. I’m thinking I need 2, probably not 3 nodes. I’m switching from the Linksys Velop AX4200 it registers 900 download from my modem (Arris SurfBoard SB6190) but only transmits ~200 when right in front of it, and 20 when 10ft in front of my furthest node. All advice welcome!Orbi 750 Series Tri-Band WiFi adding NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Plus Switch

I don’t want a unmanaged switch I Owned it: Orbi 750 Series Tri-Band WiFi 6 Mesh System, 4.2Gbps, Router + 1 Satellite Planning to purchase from Amazon: NETGEAR 8-Port Gigabit Ethernet Plus Switch (GS308E) - Desktop or Wall Mount, Home Network Hub, Office Ethernet Splitter, Silent Operation, BlackOrbi RBK752 intermittently dropping incoming VOIP
I have an Orbi RBK752 that I have recently purchased to replace an RBK50 hoping it would solve this issue, but such is not the case . . . . When on a Zoom call or on a DECT 6.0 (1.92 GHz) phone call, the incoming voice signal frequently drops out for about 15-30 seconds, then returns. My outgoing voice is apparently heard by the others on the call during this interval, because they later tell me that they can hear me saying "I can't hear you". I have seem this problem being addressed in other posts in the community, but the solutions seem to be too complicated for a non-IT person like me to follow. My ISP provides a gigabit fiberoptic signal, and the Orbi app clocks it at over 900 Mbits/sec (915.43 download, 943.20 upload). We have sometimes 2 or even 3 TV sets running off the system using Firefox adapters, with no issues. This issue only seems to occur with incoming VOIP, whether with the DECT phone or Zoom. I think I'm not alone . . . any suggestions greatly appreciated! Thank you!
