Readynas detects via USB, reads remaining time correctly. However it reports the battery charge incorrectly, always listing 12% even though the charge is at 100%. This seems to be an issue with NUT's hidups driver. If I use the newhidups driver instead, the charge percentage is listed as 120%. On my Ubuntu box this UPS works fine with NUT's upshid-ups driver. So I have temporarily used the Ubuntu box as the server and pointed my ReadyNAS at it. NUT Versions: Ubuntu: 2.6.1-2ubuntu2 ReadyNAS: 2.0.5-0.netgear12 I've read in other threads on here that NUT can be updated but it will break compatibility with the web interface. Is it just a matter of fixing the configs to match the Netgear setup instead of the latest Debian setup, or are they incompatible?Cyberpower CP1300EPFCLCD - Connected to ReadyNAS OS6
Just wanted to see if anyone is using Cyberpower CP1300EPFCLCD with the newer version of the NAS OS (ARM version)? As I'm looking into getting the above and wanted to know if the Powerpanel for Linux (deb files both 32 & 64bit) would work ? or if the built in software would pick it up. Would be nice if there was a frontview page showing status...but I can't see that within the Linux description of Powerpanel.CyberPower BRICs Series 650VA LCD UPS
Can anyone here recommend using one of the CyberPower BRICs Series 650VA LCD UPS with a ReadyNAS duo They're cheap, but as I've found in the past, that's not always best. http://www.ebuyer.com/169773-cyberpower-brics-650va-greenpower-ups-br650e-uk http://eu.cyberpowersystems.com/products/ups_systems/brics_lcd/br650elcd.htm ThanksUPS Status "Unknown"
I'm not sure when this started, but my RN516 w/6.5.1 software is reporting Status "Unknown" for my Cyberpower 1350. It used to work just fine and I haven't changed anything physically. Unplugged and replugged the USB cable and did a system reset. The ReadyNAS knows the model number of the UPS but that is all.2.9KViews0likes3CommentsDoes a ReadyNAS 104, USBHID-UPS(8) driver and CyberPower UPS - can they work together?
I've been googling all day and can't find an solid answer. I've found that to connect to the CyberPower VALUE2200ELCD UPS (or 800) you need USBHID-UPS drivers but I can't find information on whether the USBHID-UPS can be installed on the ReadyNAS104 and if it can be, will it communicate with UPS? I don't need anything fancy, just for NAS to shut down gently if battery on UPS gets too low. Am I hoping for too much for such a cheap NAS? Any advice will be appreciated.Cyberpower CPS Vakue1000 EIGP
Hi guys, Plugged my RNDU2000 with latest firmware to the aforementioned UPS. Seems to detect it in raidar, but wont correctly monitor the power remaining on the UPS? It seems to think it stays at 100% even 10 mins into battery runtime. Any suggestions, or thoughts, or help? Im a tad stumped.
