Change AVI MIME types so they will hopefully be more compatible with older playback devices. Handle strange filter arguments better. Deal with very large music libraries on XBox360. Fix auto-update handling of jman's sequence of copying a file, deleting that file, then copying the file again. I'm a noobie looking for some info/help with my readyDLNA setup. I have a NV+ (RAIDiator 4.1.7 [1.00a043]) with 4 Seagate ST2000DL003-9VT166 2 TB hard drives setup with X-RAID. I have set up the ReadyDLNA (v1.0.18.2) in order to stream vidoe to my Samsung BD-D5700 BluRay player. For the first week or so, it seemed to work flawlessly. Then after stopping a movie in mid-stream because of sound issues with my HTiB, I started to experience some problems. Now, the ReadyDLNA does not show all of the sub-folders in the share, and does not show all of the files in the folders that it does show. The ReadyDLNA also becomes unavailable on the network occassionaly, requiring user intervention before it shows in the media device list on the BluRay or in WMP. The ReadyDLNA share is set up with 1 main folder (TV) with 6 sub-folders (A-SeriesNew, B-Movies, Discovery, Incomming, Need to watch, and ThisWeek). Originally, all of the folders and files were available. Now only the first 2 show up, and the B-Movies folder has files in it that are no longer available to stream. I don't see any pattern to the missing files. Now, my questions... 1) Is there a limit to the number of Files/Folders that ReadyDLNA will support? 2) Is there a limit to the size of files that ReadyDLNA supports? 3) Should the Status Logs show ReadyDLNA media file rescan completed? It has only shown 'Started', never 'finished' or 'completed' Hopefully somebody out there will be able to offer some insight, before the frustration grows much more. Hello, (new guy here) So,i bought me a ReadyNas NV+ 4bay. I was trying to make the shares show on my TV. No go. My TV is a UE40F5500AW. When i go to the samsung media browser it shows everything perfectly. It even says "Connect Nearby Devices (DLNA) via your home network". But there is no ReadyNAS in the listing. My computer shows up just fine. Also on my laptop i cannot detect it via network devices but i can connect to it using its direct IP with run.exe. Both wired and wireless seem to fail on the TV so that i why i am asking now if it is a fault in the NAS. I dont know if this has anything to do with it but transfer speeds are 1.6MB/s. I give up and i dont know what to do now. I have been scanning this forum for almost 2 hours now. So i made an account and try to find anything this way. Sorry if this question has been asking so much but i just cannot find the threads that link to it. Kind regards, Frans9.4KViews0likes12CommentsReadyDLNA not displaying all folders on TV
ReadyNAS NV+ running firmware 4.1.8 I have ReadyDLNA enabled with my Share "media" selected with no folder specified and "All" Content Types selected. Not all folders are displaying on my Samsung TV (PS50C7000YF). In my case only one folder and contents are showing. I have tried specifying multiple folders but they still don't show up. Updating with ReadyDLNA 1.0.24.3 made no difference. Anyone else having this issue?9.4KViews0likes15CommentsReadyNAS 104 DLNA Service Not Working.
I have a couple of ReadyNAS 104 that I am re-purposing, I have completely restored to default and then created a share on both boxes and enabled DLNA service, but I cannot see the two storage options from any of the 6 TV's that we have that are attached to the network, I can see an older ReadyNAS NV+ but not these two units, I have filled both with Movies and Films of various types and still nothing. Firmware 6.4.2, 1Gb Backbone. Any help would be much appreciated... JamesSolved7.7KViews0likes14CommentsReady DLNA stopped working for music streaming
I am SO confused. Ready DLNA worked just fine for the last 3 or 4 years on my ReadyNas Duo. It stopped working last night on my Oppo BD 95 Universal Disc Player. So here is what I think I know: Ready DLNA on my iPad and iPhone work perfectly, but they connect differently. On the Oppo, wireless connects and I can use You Tube or Pandora, but when I go to network shares, the Read Nas no longer shows up with my shares. Searching my network from Oppo software finds nothing. I have tried everything and all suggestions from Oppo. I do not think its Oppo issue. If I go to the NAS from a browser IP address, log in as ADMIN, I can see my shares, but when I try to access them, it asks for a login and password to the share and I can get them with this additional login and password (different than admin). I see all of the drive through my Ethernet connection just fine, of course. I have stopped and restarted Ready DLNA. I have rebooted the ReadyNas. I am out of ideas. I cannot get the Oppo to find my shares any longer. Can anyone help me trouble shoot this? I used this features several times a week. Thanks! ~Bob7KViews0likes37CommentsReadyDLNA rescan in NV+ V2
I've just updated from a ReadyNAS Duo to a NV+ V2. Viewing my files via DLNA is showing all sorts of 'incorrect results'. To be more specific many null folder listings and files in the wrong location etc... This did happen on my Duo as well, normally when adding new folders to the share which the DLNA server was using. However in the old option I was able to press a button that caused the files to be rescanned and that fixed the problem. Now I have the same problem with the NV+ V2 but the option to rescan the files is not present. I have tried using the slider control to turn the ReadyDLNA service off and back on again. Also I have tried rebooting the NV+ V2. Neither have worked unfortunately. Could anyone shed any light on this?6.8KViews0likes40CommentsReadyNAS Ultra 6 Tivo Not Archiving -- KUID problem?
I have had a running battle trying to get consistent archiving from from Tivo (Premier XL) to ReadyNas Ultra 6 plus - for a while it seemed to mostly work but since July it only very rarely works with only about 5 successful archive attempts since that time, one as recently as Dec 2nd. My Ultra 6 Plus is now running new firmware image. (RAIDiator-x86 4.2.19) which I updated today while trying to reset both the Tivo and ReadyNAS. I have rebooted both and launched several attempts of archive but same issues remain. I have been searching the forum and see that others have problems with files not properly recognized as KUID. Noting these similar problems, but I did not seem to find a post with any solution I will try to state my situation here. My logs show many many listings such as this today, each and every day it tries to archive: [2011/12/20 18:01:10] tivo_utils.c:249: info: Modern Family (Two Monkeys and a Panda) is no longer KUID (expires 2038-01-19T03:14:00Z). Skipping. this entry is repeated for virtually everything on my Tivo currently. Very strange, but today was the first time I looked at the Tivo log as I did not know one existed until seeing the other posts I simply thought the ReadyNAS and Tivo did not connect at all. I checked the Tivo and this program is clearly marked KUID (Keep until I delete) and should be archived. I managed to get some shows archived on Dec 2nd and Nov 25th but no matter what I mark KUID on the TIVO box does not seem to matter - the archive simply skips over it. I have RAIDar 4.3.0 and all "lights" on the RAIDar are Green. I can also see and play any archived files on Tivo or my mac. Just can't seem to add any new shows. Under the Streaming Services tab / ReadyDLNA it shows v1.0.22 not sure if this is current or how to update? Any other info needed to troubleshoot? Any ideas on how to fix as I am running out of disk space on the Tivo?
Könnte man ihn dann irgendwie per Handy "aufwecken"? I have recently upgraded my Router from a lynksis wirless N router to a Netgear Wireless AC 1200 (R6100). With it I purchased a WD My Book 2 TB HDD for use as a NAS Device. Everything was working fine until about a week ago I had some trouble uploading a file from my Win10 PC to the drive via the network. Afterwords I could not access the drive from any of my families 3 windos PC's (Win 7SP2, 8.1, and 10). I could still acces the drive via DLNA through my Sony Bravia and my PS3. I did a power cycle of my modem and router and from then on I could access the drive from my computers but not through the Sony TV or PS3. I have removed the corrupted file from the drive, as well as the previous upload (law and order season 20). I have cycled the power on my WD Drive as well as edited all of the network settings through the netgear genie, the TV and the PS3. I have not reformated the drive since I don't have the space on my computer for all of the files (1.6TB worth of files, 500GB free space on my PC).
