I have the Nighthawk M6 (X62 modem) on T-Mobile. I consistently get 5G UC indicated. However in the network advanced info I always see LTE bands like LTE B2 listed as the current radio band and not a 5G band. Is this showing all of the bands I’m connected to or just the primary band? Is there a way to see all of the bands we are connected to - where would the secondary band show if the X62 modem is doing carrier band aggregation across multiple bands? I’m under the impression that this device with the X62 inside can aggregate multiple bands across LTE and aggregate 2 or 3 5G bands (have seen some discrepancy whether it’s 2 or 3 on X62) - correct me if I’m wrong. Thanks all.Nighthawk M2 IP PassThrough stops working when idle
So I have a Nighthawk M2 in IP PassThrough with a VPN tunnel uplink over time it disconnects from 4G network for some reason and as soon as I login to the Nighthawk it springs to life. firmware NTG24_10.19.03.00 So anyone else having this problem? the ISP is o2LM1200 - can't upgrade firmware
Hello, I've recently connected an LM1200 modem as a failover WAN. However, I can't update it via the online checker - I receive an error that says "There was a problem updating your device. Please try again later." but it has failed over several days. I've also downloaded the firmware (LM1200-100EUS_23114953_NTG9X07W_20.06.09.00_EMEA_04.19_00-field.010.spk) from the Netgear website but altough it uploads to the modem I get this message: I've seen other reports of the same problem but there doesn't seem to be a universal fix. I wondered if anyone else had managed to resolve this issue.Netgear Nighthawk M1 Charging Issues
Hello, so I’ve been using the NETGEAR Nighthawk M1 MR1100 Mobile Router for a while now. And I noticed a little issue with the charging, whenever I leave it charging overnight (while it’s at 13% of charge) and check back in the morning, it doesn’t charge as fast meaning it will be at about 24% after a day of charging. And this really annoys me because I always take my Mobile Router with me whenever I go outside, and it always runs out of battery because of this issue. Before you ask me these: 1- I cleaned the Gold contacts both on the battery and the device. 2- I soft restarted the device. 3- I took out the battery out of the device and waited for over 30 seconds. 4- The cable is not damaged nor the battery or the device it self. (I doubled checked).LM1300 LTE modem stops routing traffic between the WAN and LAN ports after 6 hours approximately
I have setup my LM1300 between my broadband connection and my Netgear Orbi Pro router to serve as a failover when the broadband connection is unavailable However the LM1300 stops routing traffic from the WAN port after 6 hours. The broadband connection is still available but the LM1300 does not route traffic. All 4 lights are green on the modem. It also does not failover to 4G at this point. When this occurs all internet connectivity is lost. This has been an issue since purchase (i.e. the modem has never worked properly) This issue has been reported on this forum in one from or another quite a few times now by a number of users over many months and I have not seen any resolution. If there is new firmware available to address this problem please indicate where I can download it otherwise please advise on how the problem can be resolved. I have taken the following steps: Checked for firmware updates using the modem settings web page. The modem initially downloaded a firmware update when I first turned it on but no new updates since then. Factory reset the modem. This actually seemed to help for a while. The modem ran for 2 days after the factory reset without dropping the WAN. However I triggered a WAN failover as a test to make sure the LTE functionality worked. The modem switched to LTE as expected and then switched back when I reconnected the WAN. 6 hours later the WAN connection dropped again. So the factory reset did not fix the issue. Here are the modem details: Firmware Version: EC25AFFDR07A09M4G App Version: NTG9X07C_20.06.09.00 Web App Version: LM1300-HDATA_03.03.103.201 Bootloader Version: Hardware Version: 1.0 Please advise how this issue can be resolved. The modem is essentially useless at this point since it requires manual intervention every 6 hours. Thanks DMAircard 763S MEP Unlock tool for Windows 10
I want to unlock my Aircard 763S but I am having issues downloading and running Aircard Watcher. I have downloaded and started the exe file from http://downloadcenter.netgear.com/en/#searchResults but it will not run on my Windows 10 OS. I can not find that the program has been loaded and installed either. Is there a more up-to-date download file that I should use? Need some help on this as I am stuck. Also, does anyone have the unlock MEP code for the Roger's version of this? Thanks a lot. ErikNetgear M5 (MR5200-100EUS) - issues in Australia
Hello Netgear people! I have the Netgear M5 and have been using for a couple years, I recently returned from overseas and tried to reconnect the device using both Lebara (Vodafone) and Belong (Telstra) simcards and cannot get a signal and hence a connection. Details of my Nighthawk M5 - (MR5200-100EUS) Hardware version 1.2 Firmware version NTGX55_12.04.17.00 Firmware built date 2023/03/01 Modem version MPSS.HI.2.0.c3.5-00010-SDXX55_CPEALL_PACK-1.403198.3 I have the overseas model but have used it plenty in Australia - I have tried APN settings, band settings, factory reset and updated firmware last night. I've found this supporting the model working in Europe and Aus - https://kb.netgear.com/000063963/Which-mobile-carriers-are-compatible-with-my-NETGEAR-mobile-hotspot-or-fixed-wireless-device but know it works as I've had a Belong sim in the device 6 months ago and it worked a treat. I am stuck and wondering if anyone has any practical tips to get this paper weight connected to the internet? I am even trying to see if its possible to jailbreak or load with open source software if someone has done this with an M5 unit before any help would be greatly appreciated! thanksMR6500-1TLAUS Missing Reboot /Restart icon.
Hi everyone, wondering if anyone here using Telstra Nighthawk M60 Pro with firmware NTGX65_12.01.41.00_00 is missing the "Reboot/Restart" functionality ? Had and OTA update last year from NTGX65_12.01.38.00_00 to NTGX65_12.01.41.00_00 (latest) and noticed it went missing. Been waiting for a firmware update from Telstra which never came and wondering if anyone here is running firmware much more latest than mine. ThanksNighthawk M5 5G standalone (SA) support
Is the Nighthawk M5 router going to get 5G SA support? I'm from Finland and as a customer of Elisa, I've had access to their SA network for quite a while now. It is my understanding that this should be quite easily achievable with a firmware upgrade. As far as I was able to find, support has not been added. I am fully aware that this is a discontinued product but considering its price, which was by far one of the highest (if not the highest) of its category, and the fact that it was (still kind of is) a top of the range product, I'd expect to recieve at least compatibility updates like this (or why are we paying premium for Netgear's products if they don't get premium support...?). Just as an example, the M6 (non-Pro) currently cost basically 250 € more than any other 5G router, mobile or otherwise, on the market here, and it was the same with the M5. So what are we paying extra for?MR6110-1A1NAS no firmware update
I just purchased a refurb AT&T branded unit (claims unlocked but I don't have the SIM yet so we'll see) and I think it's stuck on old firmware. The label under the battery shows model MR6110-1A1NAS, hardware v1.0, SKU 6237D. I configured Internet > WiFi Offloading on the unit then connected a table to it's wifi to set it up to use my home wifii to try and do a firmware updated before the SIM arrives. The UI is reporting firmware version NTGX65_10.04.22.01, with a build date of Jan 11 2023, and also that it's up to date. But other forum posts about MR6110, such as this one, indicate newer firmware exists.
