IGMP
3 TopicsGS724Tv4 IGMP Snooping on a VLAN breaks IPV6 Multicast on same VLAN, Still after over 1.5yrs.
The "workaround" about doing it at port level is not 100%, seems alot of Multicast stream are missed and not reported in the switch in that config. When setup at the VLAN level it works 100% like its suposed to for IPv4, but ofcourse that breaks IPv6. This needs to be addressed, and apprently its on this whole "family" of switches based on other post here. EDIT: and this is with the latest firmware of 6.3.1.1624KViews4likes2CommentsThe current IGMP Querier does not match the planned IGMP Querier.
Hello, I have a network of 43 switches (M4250, M4350), without a Core, in a non conventional wiring configuration (not a star, not a daisy chain, just a mix) where I chosen the switch in the middle of it as Querier. After a few months, another one is acting as Quierer. I setted up the whole network with Engage and the devices are up to date. In Engage>Site Settings>IGMP Quierer I have a yellow mark on the selected switch (that is not acting as Quierer) the following message: The current IGMP Querier does not match the planned IGMP Querier. Is this already happen to anyone here? Thank you so much238Views1like1Comment
