I am trying to set up my ReadyNas to allow me to get remote access so that I can listen to music stored on the NAS on my Android phone. I can access the files on my phone via the ReadyCloud app, but when I try and open one of the files remotely to listen to it, I get 'The location http//127.0.0.1:8787/'filename'.mp3' cannot be played. These files play happily on on LAN so I must be missing something on the Readycloud set up, but I have no idea what. I am not very teccy, so if you are happy to help please could any response bear this in mind. If relevant, the model is a ReadyNAS 31200, although I can't get this in the model field for seom reason.3KViews0likes4CommentsReadyCloud VPN Disconnected - Apple desktop app
Hi all, Problem: Readycloud VPN Disconnected OS: Apple 10.13.3 MBair and MBpro Readycloud Desktop version: 1.6V I think this has been raised before but Im having it happen across most of my macs again. We can connect with readycloud app while we are on the same network but as soon as we go outside the network and try to connect we get this error as above. I have disabled the IPv6 on the Netgear server but this has not helped. The Strange thing is my MB Pro at home connects to the server useing Readycloud version 1.5v. So I tried replacing the contents of the Readycloud version 1.6v. app with my 1.5v but it didnt work. does anyone have any ideas. Also does anyone know how to use ReadyCloud Network, Manually set proxy server settings? and would this fix my problem? Hello. I own an R7000, an R8500 and an R9000. The R7000 now uses it as a wifi bridge in my home network, but a few years ago it was my router with which I registered in MyNetgear and ReadyCLOUD. I had no problem to remotely access via ReadyCLOUD either to the USB stick inserted in the R7000 or to the nas RN104 of my network. Then I bought and installed the R8500 instead of the R7000 and even then I never had any problems with ReadyCLOUD. The problems started when I bought the R9000 and installed it instead of the R8500. Through ReadyCLOUD I can see and manage the RN104 nas but I can not see the R9000 router. I went from within the router setup page to cancel the subscription to ReadyCLOUD and repeat it but without success. I have always updated the firmware of the R9000 like that of the nas RN104 and of the R7000 bridge. What can I do to get back to seeing my router from ReadyCLOUD?Solved2.8KViews0likes9CommentsReadycloud folders dont appear

Hello, We have a readyNAS 2120 v2. We have just setup ReadyCloud. We need to be able to stream short :15 second to 2:00 minute video using the app for iPhone and Androd. The Androd app does stream the video. But the iPhone does not and requires a download each time. How do we stream the videos on an iPhone? Dear Community I am interested in the ReadyNas RN 528 X. Are external hard disk arrays like the Lian Li EX-503 on the USB3 port basically compatible / supported? If so, would an already existing JBOD RAID configuration / EXT4 partition detected? This was created and operated with a Synology DS1815 +. I would also like to know if the ReadyCloud is comparable good functionality like DSM's Cloud Sync service? Does ReadyCloud work stably and reliably, and does it exist the possibility of selective folder synchronization, or will at least the possibility of choosing a single folder offered as sync target? Are there any limitations on folder size for the DropBox folder? In my case it is more than 10 terabytes! Please excuse the many and detailed questions, but I canˋt find information on the internet. Accordingly, I would be very grateful for support! With kind regards, RomanoReadyCLOUD iOS app
After a recent update 6.9 the app Wont display second level of information in my folders over my wifi but it can when just under LTE on my phone. it's quite annoying as I don't want to be browsing my folders from my phone using my data. So the question is why won't my wifi let me see folder contents on the app. On my laptop it's fine (on wifi) and I can see all the contents. Just not on the app over wifi. Hope that makes sense Thanks3.6KViews0likes9CommentsEnable to add a second ReadyCloud user on R7000
Hi There are at least two post (an older and a newer one) both of them request to have a second user beeing able to manage data on the external storage of R7000 through ReadyCloud. See here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/R7000-Add-additional-ReadyCloud-users-NO-ReadyNAS/m-p/1126093#M37434 and here: https://community.netgear.com/t5/Nighthawk-WiFi-Routers/Second-user-on-ReadyCloud-and-R7000/m-p/1273768#M55757 I did not find a comparable post in the ideas board, an now, here it is. I'd really appreciate if such a feature was added to R7000. Regards Maguggi12KViews0likes1CommentUnable to Register ReadyCLOUD on Nighthawk AC1750 (R6700)
Hello, I am unable to Register my ReadyCLOUD account on my router via the routerlogin.net page. After entering my Netgear account login credentials i am getting the message "This router is regisered with the following ReadyCLOUD user (my account)" for a split second. This message disappears and then "Registration failed" message appears. I am able to login to the ReadyCloud site with the credentials however.Solved2.6KViews0likes11Comments
