I am trying to set up my ReadyNas to allow me to get remote access so that I can listen to music stored on the NAS on my Android phone. I can access the files on my phone via the ReadyCloud app, but when I try and open one of the files remotely to listen to it, I get 'The location http//127.0.0.1:8787/'filename'.mp3' cannot be played. These files play happily on on LAN so I must be missing something on the Readycloud set up, but I have no idea what. I am not very teccy, so if you are happy to help please could any response bear this in mind. If relevant, the model is a ReadyNAS 31200, although I can't get this in the model field for seom reason.3KViews0likes4CommentsReadyCloud VPN Disconnected - Apple desktop app
Hi all, Problem: Readycloud VPN Disconnected OS: Apple 10.13.3 MBair and MBpro Readycloud Desktop version: 1.6V I think this has been raised before but Im having it happen across most of my macs again. We can connect with readycloud app while we are on the same network but as soon as we go outside the network and try to connect we get this error as above. I have disabled the IPv6 on the Netgear server but this has not helped. The Strange thing is my MB Pro at home connects to the server useing Readycloud version 1.5v. So I tried replacing the contents of the Readycloud version 1.6v. app with my 1.5v but it didnt work. does anyone have any ideas. Also does anyone know how to use ReadyCloud Network, Manually set proxy server settings? and would this fix my problem? Thanks All Regards Ben3.6KViews0likes6CommentsReadycloud folders dont appear

Hello, We have a readyNAS 2120 v2. We have just setup ReadyCloud. We need to be able to stream short :15 second to 2:00 minute video using the app for iPhone and Androd. The Androd app does stream the video. But the iPhone does not and requires a download each time. How do we stream the videos on an iPhone? Thanks, engshop3.1KViews0likes3CommentsRN528 HDD Array Support / ReadyCloud functionality for DropBox
Dear Community I am interested in the ReadyNas RN 528 X. Are external hard disk arrays like the Lian Li EX-503 on the USB3 port basically compatible / supported? If so, would an already existing JBOD RAID configuration / EXT4 partition detected? This was created and operated with a Synology DS1815 +. I would also like to know if the ReadyCloud is comparable good functionality like DSM's Cloud Sync service? Does ReadyCloud work stably and reliably, and does it exist the possibility of selective folder synchronization, or will at least the possibility of choosing a single folder offered as sync target? Are there any limitations on folder size for the DropBox folder? In my case it is more than 10 terabytes! Please excuse the many and detailed questions, but I canˋt find information on the internet. Accordingly, I would be very grateful for support! With kind regards, RomanoReadyCLOUD iOS app
After a recent update 6.9 the app Wont display second level of information in my folders over my wifi but it can when just under LTE on my phone. it's quite annoying as I don't want to be browsing my folders from my phone using my data. So the question is why won't my wifi let me see folder contents on the app. On my laptop it's fine (on wifi) and I can see all the contents. Just not on the app over wifi. Hope that makes sense Thanks3.6KViews0likes9CommentsReadyCLOUD - Reinitialising backup folder
Hi I have been using my ReadyNAS to backup specific folders from my desktop. The ReadyNAS is at a different address so I have been using the ReadyCLOUD app. I initialised the backup of a folder (eg photos) and after a while everything was uploaded to the NAS. I then left the ReadyCLOUD app running in the background for probably a month before I checked it again, and I noticed that some of the folders that were set to backup had lost their connection with the NAS (picture included). My problem is that I can’t find anyway of reinitialising the link with the NAS and hence these folders are no longer being backed up. If I use the "backup pc folder" button, it just created a new folder on the NAS and starts uploading all my files again. This is becoming quite a problem. Incidentally the two folders which have stopped syncing are quite large (30 & 480GB). Any help with the matter would be much apricated. Cheers.2.4KViews1like4CommentsCannot login to readycloud with MyNetgear account details

I have Windows 10 operating two computers. There was a recent Windows 10 update (July 2017) from Windows. I made the Windows 10 update to these two computers last week and the previous version of ReadyCLOUD for Backup and Sync on these two computers. The previous version of ReadyCLOUD (prior to 1.16.1297.525) was working just fine on the Windows 10 update. Today, my ReadyCloud App said there was a new update (1.16.1297.525) and I proceed with the ReadyCLOUD App update, however, during the install process I got the following message on both computers: "Error Opening file for writing" "Program Files (x86)\NETGEAR\Remote\Bin\Incomservice.dll" Now what do I do to get past this Error in Windows 10 and get the ReadyCLOUD to install on my two computers?7.3KViews1like12Comments
