Will be the actually situation in next one - two months changed, or should I change to competition?Cannot create directory
Hi, from the beginning I cannot use the "live view" or "playback" function by the Surveillance (only the app on my smartphone show the live view from my cameras so I think, it will be recorded). Now the error is: Cannot create directory /Users/my_name/.jnlp-applet/cahce/nas_5100/long_number I have my ReadyNas 104 since more as one year and in that time nothing happened, any firmware updated, that lose that problem. Hi, I have a ReadyNAS 316 and have installed the Netgear ReadyNAS Surveillance App Firmware Version: 1.4.3 which I am keen to make use of. It has commenced a 30 day trial period and requires a licence. I approach the vendor I purchased the NAS from who advised that the licences are an 'end of life product' so I cannot obtain them. The Netgear app looks very suitable for my purpose. I expect to use 8 cameras. Is it possible for me to use the Netgear ReadyNAS Surveillance app?NETGEAR app compatibility with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 (update 2016-10-19)
As of ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0-RC1 the following NETGEAR apps have been found incompatible with ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 and removed from our available apps pending update. Downloads for users requiring these apps are available below. ReadyNAS Surveillance This issue has been resolved in the following versions: 1.4.3-15 for amd64 1.1.4-5 for armel Original post: 1.1.2-3 for armel 1.4.2-3 for amd64 Users installing ReadyNAS Surveillance on a freshly installed ReadyNAS OS 6.6.0 system will receive the following error after login: You have been idle more than 10 minutes, the system logged you out. You will then be forwarded back to the login page. This does not affect users who have previously installed the app on ReadyNAS OS before 6.6.0 and then upgrade to 6.6.0, unless an apt-get upgrade operation is performed (upgrading the version of PHP5 included in the ReadyNAS from v5.4 to v5.6, and causing the issue). NETGEAR is aware of this issue and working on a resolution. We've purchased several licences for Surveillance, and currently using a 9 camera system, soon to be upgraded to 12. The main Surveillance app hasn't seen an update in a long time, and there are quite a few new models from several manufacturers that I'm not sure it will support. It already supports a ton of models from Vivotek, but the ones we're about to purchase are not on the list. I assume they'll work, but I want to make sure Surveillance is still being developed and maintained before purchasing more licenses. Regarding the iOS app, still looks horrible and cumbersome as hell. Oh, and BTW, I can't seem to find the Windows application anywhere. As many of you know the list of compatible cameras is very old. I was interested in a couple of new d-link 180 degree cameras that are too new to be listed. Are they any 180 degree cameras on the list and if so are there any that someone could recommend?
