Nighthawk M1 does not port forward and cannot get help from netgear
So I have a business account with telstra on the extranet apn and they adminantly say that it is not behind a CGNAt and that portforwarding should work and it is the modem at fault. I have also confirmed that many people have got portfowarding working using mobile broadband on the extranet service. But the Nighthawk M1 will not do it. I have tried DMZ and ip pass through and setting up portfowarding rules. and to no avail I cannot get my ftp server to work........ Can anyone confirm that the portforwarding does work and tell me what I am doing wrong. I am ready to take a hammer to he router ....... I have confirmed that my ftp server works on a router modem on a fixed landline service by opening up the correct ports. Also is it true that you can not enter a range of ports into the m1 you have do it individually.A6210 will not function in Hostednetwork mode
Hello, I've gone through the steps on this tutorial. I notice that there was another post Here that was regarding the same issue, however the issue seems to never have been resolved. I have no idea why a thread would be closed if an issue isn't resolved, but I am now running into the same issue.
NETGEAR ProSafe Router
Hello, all I know is that your line of Netgear ProSafe wireless routers are appropriate for my agency/business. I am small to medium inside, I have to keep extra tight security on everything digital/electronic at all times, this DOES have to be a wireless model - highest speeds possible. And this proposed router will need to work with the modem that I have attached here. So will an expert in your ProSafe line, wireless model routers please private message me and tell me what to get and why? I need this information by morning unfortunately. After downloading this driver, the adapter and genie stopped working after downloading new drivers. I don't remember how I got to this point, but my genie was uninstalled hoping if I reinstalled it, everything would be fixed. Not the case, when I tried to reinstall it, it couldn't find my adapter. Therefore, I couldn't get the genie to work or install new drivers on the website. I've searched through forums and videos, tried the device manager thing and still no luck. Any ideas?
