I just upgraded to Windows 10 about 2 days ago and as soon as I upgraded, my WNDA4100 Network Adapter quit working. The LED's no longer light up when it is plugged in. I went to netgear's website and downloaded the latest firmware which says it is compatible with Windows 10. After I install the firmware, I go to device manager and click properties on the adapter and I get this error message: Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39) {Unable to Load Device Driver} %hs device driver could not be loaded. Error Status was 0x%x I have tried running the firmware install in windows 8 compatibility mode as that was suggested by other people, but it never finishes installation. It doesn't lock up, but nothing ever happens. Netgear is not willing to help me one bit cause it's older than 90 days, blah blah. If anyone else has the same trouble, I'd greatly appreciate some help. I am currently using a really long ethernet cord that stretches my living room. I really don't want to have to buy another adapter and with windows 10 being so new, idk what new adapter would even work.Solved76KViews1like18CommentsDrive Errors, Can't Connect - A7000
I have tried numerous times now... I used the disk that came with the A7000 I just purchased brand new. I selected the full Genie app first, then the app installed, Windows 10 said we are all good with the driver...then I tried to connect to my network. After putting in the pass, the device disconnected from the computer and the application won't open now. When I go in to device manager, it says there is a driver error. I've un-installed, re-installed, deleted everything I could find with NETGEAR on it, tried again, tried the Standalone version, tried the BETA 1.0.0.13 version...nothing works. Any suggestions would be great.Solved28KViews0likes6CommentsMy A6210 adapter stopped working!
I had this adapter for a few months. It has been running on my windows 10 operated computer all the time. Sometimes I had trouble connecting, but it always turned out great. Then when I turned the computer on, it refused to work. I had been on the computer today, played a few games, spoke with my buddy via skype. Turned the computer off, and went outside for a couple of hours. When I returned, and turned the computer on, it didn't have internet. It refused to connect. I don't know why. I have tried restarting my computer. I tried switching USB ports, trying different cabels, testing my extention cabel, tried the adapter directly into a USB port. Nothing. I tried reinstalling the software, and updating the drivers - nothing. I downloaded the Netgear Genie app too, still nothing. I tried various things, and it doesn't work.Solved24KViews0likes2CommentsNETGEAR A6210 is not found?

I have installed software version 1.0.0.36 as recommended on this forum, I have set the USB Speed to 3.0 in the Advanced tab, I have disabled the NetgearUSBSwitch process from Start-up, and probably a few other things too which escape me at this hour, but I still only get a slow 54Mb/s connection speed. After the installation of the software v1.0.0.36 the connection speed did go up to 144Mb/s and all was good, but the next start up of my PC and all back as it was. Any suggestion would be gratefully received as I'm just about to purchase another manufacturers Wi-Fi Adapter. Thanks in advance.Solved11KViews0likes5CommentsA6200 Dead Since Win 10 Upgrade
Your newest, supposedly Win 10 compatible driver, is not Win 10 compatible. My A6200 adapter was working fine until I upgraded to Win 10. Now it is completely dead. The firmware is updated, and I have tried all Win compatibility options. I have tried all A6200 drivers. I have even tried the A6210 driver as recommended by a member of this forum. The blue connect light never illuminates. I have used the standalone and non drivers. Nothing works. Numerous others are having the same problem in this forum. When are you going to provide a driver that actually works with Win 10? Also, why would you release a Win 10 driver when it is obviously not compatible with Win 10? My confidence in Netgear products is at an all time low!9.6KViews5likes9CommentsNetgear WNDA4100 N900 Frequently Disconnects
Hello, I have Window 8.1. I use The Netgear WNDA4100 N900 Adapter. It frequently disconnects and looses its signal. All other wifi devices in the house run well. My computer is the only one that cannot stay on the internet. Is there any help that can be given for this? I am very frustrated. I am constantly removing the plug from the USB port and plugging it back in, to connect to the signal. I have used multiple USB ports and the same issue happens. Thank you for your time.7.4KViews0likes15CommentsPowerline Adapter PLP1200 shows up as "unidentified connection"
I got my first powerline because I hated the wireless life. With the new powerline, I installed and prepared it using the instructions from the manual. After hold the security button for two seconds on each adapter, the power light is flashing like it should be and once every light turns green, the computer detects it as "Unidentified Connection". Also, looking at the Network Connections section I see a new device called "Ethernet" with "Realtek PCIe GBE family controler. While connected to the adapter, I am able to access SOME websites like google, youtube etc. I'm not even connected to my wireless! But if I were to goto a website like speedtest.net (I wanted to compare speeds between wireless vs wired vs powerline wired) it takes forever to "connect" and doesn't load/ connect to the page at all.6.5KViews0likes10CommentsWNDA3100V3 BSOD Security Check Error with disconnect and reconnects
Every time my Netgear WNDA3100V3 USB WIFI adapter disconnects and then reconnects to the internet, my computer shuts down and displays the BSOD (blue screen of death) that says the stop code. "Kernel Security Check Error" and tells me to go to windows.com/stopcode and find an answer? Well I have uninstalled and reinstalled and made sure my computer and the adapter are updated. After downloading this driver, the adapter and genie stopped working after downloading new drivers. I don't remember how I got to this point, but my genie was uninstalled hoping if I reinstalled it, everything would be fixed. Not the case, when I tried to reinstall it, it couldn't find my adapter. Therefore, I couldn't get the genie to work or install new drivers on the website. I've searched through forums and videos, tried the device manager thing and still no luck. Any ideas?5.6KViews0likes4Comments
